Throughout the year members of the Friends of Baker Park, lead by members of the board organize events in the park related to membership and park maintenance. Please join us.

Check the website for publish dates of these and other events.

General Membership Meetings
Purpose: The Friends of Baker Park holds an annual General Membership Meeting in the spring at the Talley Recreation Center (Old Armory). We typically have a speaker to present something related to Baker Park. We also hold elections for new Board members.

Spring Planting Project
Purpose: Each spring, in late May/early June, the Friends of Baker Park does a planting project to either clean up an existing bed or plant a new area with flowers and shrubs.
